Notably, Laylla Dane first tantalized her taste buds in electronic music at the tender age of 14. Overwhelmed by the power of this particular brand of music, the young lady was not content to be just a regular visitor to a throbbing party. In fact, when in 2002 the DJs Ataneus & Chester introduced her with the other side of the electronic world she firmly declared her involvement. A year later, the three of them united in the name of ‘intelligente’, whose main purpose was to tinge techno music with more ripened sounds.
If you combine Laylla Dane’s choice of music with her confidence behind the decks you will find an explanation for her regular appearances on the club scene. For 4 years now, Laylla has been a resident DJ at Toba&Co Bar - one of Sofia’s most prestigious places to warm up the night.
Actially, the hot fuss started at the end of 2007 with her professional debut when Miss Dane won the first place in a DJ contest which resulted in one-year residency at one of the most popular electronic clubs in the region - Sofia-based Chervilo Club. The successful story continued with her two nominations as ‘Best See Upcoming Artist’ (2008) and Best See Female DJ (2009) during the Seeme Awards.
Laylla Dane is no stranger to the international club scene as well. She has successfully entertained the crowds in Greece, Slovenia, Serbia, and Macedonia.
Presently, she plays at various venues and the future is bright for her.
Още на 14 Laylla Dane проявява предпочитанията си към електронната музика. Запленена от магията на този особен вид музика, тя не се задоволява с ролята на редовен парти посетител. През 2002 г. предприема стъпка към другата страна на електронния свят с помощта на Ataneus & Chester. Година по-късно тримата обединяват музикалните си интереси под името “intelligente” с надеждата да украсят електронната сцена в БГ с по-изтънчени звуци. Първоначалното влечение на Laylla Dane към италианското техно прелива в интерес към електрото и оформя настоящия й вкус, който пулсира между узрял хаус и интелигентно техно.
В началото на 2007 г. Laylla Dane открива CE Exclusive Sessions на www.clubevents.info - сайт за електронна музика и култура. От тогава тя ежегодно записва ексклузивен микс за бързо разрастващата се медия. Освен това младата дама участва в различни ефирни и интернет радио предавания със своите сетове.
През декември 2007 г. Laylla Dane участва в DJ конкурс, проведен в софийския клуб Червило. Представянето й там й спечелва редовно присъствие на клубната сцена.
Понастоящем Laylla Dane свири на различни мероприятия, но най-сигурно е да я срещнете в Toba&Co Bar, София, където тя е резидент DJ от 3 години.
През 2008 г. по време на наградите на South-East European Music Event (SEEME) - едно от най-значимите музикални събития в Източна Европа, Laylla Dane е номинирана в категория Best See Upcoming Artist, а през 2009 - Best See Female DJ.
